SUNFLOWER EVENTS (K) LTD

During the COVID 19 pandemic, Sunflower Events (K) Ltd refused to lay off a single employee despite the near-total shutdown of the events industry. Instead of cutting costs at the expense of their workforce, the Board decided to invest in their people instead; buying phones, laptops and paying for airtime to ensure they worked remotely. Where a set-up was being done, grounds had to be sprayed, equipment sanitized, and another team manned hand-washing and masks dispensing. They also provided PPEs for their site staff comprising of regular overall, MoH approved PPEs, gloves, masks, protective eye-wear where necessary, helmets, gumboots besides industrial boots etc.
This protected livelihoods while aggressively pivoting their business model to survive and thrive.
